Lesley Hudd
Lesley is an experienced and impactful facilitator, coach and trainer.
She has been working as a consultant in individual and organisational
development for 19 years and in 1999 founded the Development Alliance.
Before founding the Development Alliance, Lesley spent ten years
at Roffey Park Institute as Director of Open Programmes and a member
of the management team. She was a tutor and the programme director
of the flagship programme “Personal Effectiveness and Power”.
Lesley started her career in development with five years spent with
a consultant occupational psychologist specialising in career planning,
and with the Industrial Society as a Management Adviser. Since 1999,
Lesley has provided support on programmes for Roffey Park as well
as for Helsinki Business school and London Business school.
She has facilitated senior and board level groups in a range of organisations:
Oasis consulting, Electronic Arts, Global crossing Telecommunications,
Johnson and Johnson, Allied Distillers, Oxfam, Johnston Press Newspapers,
Pricewaterhouse Coopers, NHS, and Manchester and District Housing
group. Lesley has also offered one-to-one coaching to senior managers
in Harper Collins Publishers, Electronic Arts, Oxford University Press,
Telewest and Whitman Laboratories.
She has extensive experience of working with groups to facilitate
business decision-making and planning for change. Her work on influencing
skills, power and presence, personal effectiveness, and leadership
is particularly noteworthy. Clients come from the financial services,
pharmaceuticals, publishing and media, local and national government
departments, and consulting services.
Special interests
Lesley’s special interest areas are Leadership, Personal Effectiveness
and Facilitation for Change. Lesley works equally comfortably and
skilfully in large group programmes, small workshops and one-to-one
coaching.
