Eden Charles
Eden is a thought-provoking and inspirational thinker and facilitator.
He has designed, managed and facilitated nationally accredited action
learning and self-managed learning (SML) programmes for a huge variety
of organisations and is recognised as one of the most effective and
experienced SML facilitators in the country. His clients have included
Shell UK, PLAN International, and the Centre for the study of change.
He has experience of multi-national learning sets and has worked in
Thailand, Ecuador, Columbia and India. Eden has facilitated sets using
internet and teleconferencing.
He has recently delivered an SML self development programme for Chief
Executives of Housing Associations. He has worked with a number of
organisations helping them to manage structural and cultural change
and has recently led a whole organisation culture change project.
He has contributed extensively to our work on Diversity, and has worked
with numerous organisations, both as a facilitator and as a speaker,
in this field.
In addition to his work with action learning sets and large group
interventions, Eden has experience in 1:1 coaching and mentoring of
individuals across a broad range of organisations. His clients include
FSA, Schering, Electronic Arts, Northern Telecom, BBC, Zeneca, Save
the Children Fund, and Channel 4 Television.
Special Interests
Eden’s special interest lies in self-managed learning and action
learning, managing change, individual and organisational learning,
strategic thinking, integrating learning from diversity thinking into
organisational learning. He is a published writer who is committed
to his own learning. He is currently completing a PhD at Bath University.
